More crazy storms last night, lightning flickering outside so that we thought first, before the thunder was evident, that some light in our courtyard had started going south. Then came the rain, hard enough to make a monsoon downpour blush at the competition. We’d left a window open a crack, and I woke up again during the second installment (every good storm has at least one sequel) and realized there was dripping coming from the inside, got up to find at least a gallon of water had come inside and was pooling on our floor.
